Our founders

T.A. Balasubramanian, Managing Director
Holds a BTech (Chemical Engineering) Degree from IIT Chennai and an MBA from IIM Kolkatta. He has almost 30 years of experience in the Indian industry, firstly in the Systems Management function of HPCL (1979-1993) and since 1993 in Maxigen. Mr Balasubramanian is a writer and spearheads the strategy and creative functions in Maxigen.
He is a writer with the technology publications of the India Today (Computers Today, and later, Smart Inc,) and the Indian Express Group.

Gita Manian, Director
Holds a B Sc Hons Degree in Physics from Delhi University and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. She started her career in 1979 with Lintas, where she worked till 1982. In Lintas, she managed a number of Hindustan Lever accounts. Specifically she was part of the team that launched the first tea bag in India.
She joined Speer Advertising as a core member of the team that founded this agency, moving after 3 years to Rediffussion where she managed accounts like Kinetic Honda, Garden Sarees, Colgate Palmolive, Bush Baron etc.
